Virtuo Epoxy MIO Finish

Epoxy MIO is a two-pack, high-build, micaceous iron oxide (MIO) pigmented epoxy coating. It offers excellent corrosion, abrasion, and chemical resistance — ideal for steel, concrete, and structural surfaces in harsh industrial and marine environments.

✨ Product Features

• Two-component epoxy with micaceous iron oxide (MIO) pigment
• High-build, self-priming or intermediate finish
• Strong resistance to water, salts, chemicals, abrasion
• Tolerates surface oils/moisture in certain systems
• Continuous heat resistance up to ~100 °C (non-continuous up to 150 °C in some systems)
• Mixing Ratio commonly 4 : 1 (Base : Hardener)
• Pot life ~ 4–6 hours at ~25–30 °C
• Application: Brush, roller, airless / conventional spray
• Over-coating interval: from ~2 hours up to several days
• Good adhesion to steel, aged epoxy, galvanized surfaces
